I was sitting at my desk, staring at my laptop screen. I was working on my latest project proposal, but my mind kept wandering back to Vansh. Over the past few days, our chance encounters had left me both exhilarated and confused. I felt a magnetic pull towards him that I couldn't explain, and it was starting to consume my thoughts.
I shook my head, trying to focus on my work. But every time I closed my eyes, I saw Vansh's intense gaze, felt the warmth of his hand on mine, heard the deep timbre of his voice. There was something about him that was so familiar, yet so enigmatic.
A soft knock on my door pulled me out of my reverie. "Come in," I called.
Mom entered, a concerned look on her face. "Isha, are you alright? You've been distracted lately."
I forced a smile. "I'm fine, Mom. Just a lot on my mind."
Mom sat down on the edge of the bed. "Is it about the project? You know you can always talk to me."
I was hesitated, then nodded. "Yes, it's the project. Just feeling a bit overwhelmed."
Then mom gave me a reassuring smile. "You'll do great, Aadhya. You always do."
After mom left, I sighed and turned back to my laptop. I needed to get mt work done, but the thought of Vansh lingered at the back of my mind. I decided to take a break and clear my head with a walk in the garden.
As I walked among the blooming flowers, the fresh air helped to calm my racing thoughts. But the feeling of familiarity I had with Vansh nagged at me. I knew I had seen him somewhere before our first encounter, but where?
Vansh’s POV
I was sitting in my office, my fingers steepled under my chin as I reviewed the day's reports. My operations were running smoothly, My political influence growing stronger. Yet, my thoughts kept drifting back to Aadhya. The intensity of my obsession with her was something I had never experienced before. She was like a drug, and I couldn't get enough.
I had carefully orchestrated their encounters, ensuring they seemed coincidental. HI needed to be close to her, to make her think about me as much as I thought about her. I knew I was playing a dangerous game, but I was thrived on danger.
My phone buzzed on the desk, breaking my thoughts. It was a message from Rohan: "Everything is set for tomorrow. She won't suspect a thing."
I smirked. Perfect. I had planned another encounter, this time more intimate. I would slowly weave my web tighter around her, ensuring she couldn't escape.
I thought back to our conversations, the way she looked at me with curiosity and a hint of something more. I knew she was intrigued by me, and I planned to use that to my advantage. I had already planted the seeds of my obsession in her mind, and soon, they would blossom.
Aadhya's Pov
That evening, Aadhya found herself back at the café where she had first met Vansh. She needed a change of scenery to clear her mind and focus on her work. She chose a quiet corner table, ordered a coffee, and opened her laptop.
As she worked, she felt a presence nearby. She looked up and saw Vansh standing there, a charming smile on his face. "Mind if I join you?" he asked.
My heart skipped a beat. "Of course not," I replied, gesturing to the empty chair.
Vansh sat down, his eyes never leaving mine. "You seem to be here a lot. Do you find it easier to work in cafés?"
I nodded. "Yes, it's a nice change of pace. Plus, the coffee is great."
We chatted for a while, the conversation flowing easily. Vansh had a way of making me feel comfortable, and yet there was always an undercurrent of intensity in his gaze. I couldn't help but be drawn to him, even though a part of me was wary.
As the evening wore on, the café began to empty out. I glanced at my watch and realized how late it had gotten. "I should probably head home," I said reluctantly.
Vansh nodded. "I'll walk you to your car."
They walked in silence, the night air cool and crisp. As they reached her car, Vansh turned to her, his expression serious. "Aadhya, I know we've just met, but I feel a connection with you. Do you feel it too?"
My breath caught in my throat. I nodded slowly. "Yes, I do."
Vansh stepped closer, his hand reaching out to gently cup my cheek. "I can't stop thinking about you," he whispered. "I want to know everything about you."
I felt a shiver run down my spine at his touch. There was something about him that was so intense, so consuming. I leaned into his hand, eyes closing. "I feel the same way."
Vansh leaned in, his lips brushing against mine in a soft, lingering kiss. my heart raced, my body responding to his touch. I felt like I was falling into a deep, dark abyss, but I couldn't pull away.
When they finally broke apart, Vansh rested his forehead against hers. "Aadhya, I don't want to rush you, but I can't ignore what I feel. I want to see you again."
Aadhya nodded, her voice barely a whisper. "I want that too."
Vansh smiled, his eyes dark with desire. "Good. I'll see you tomorrow."
Author's POV
As she drove home, Aadhya couldn't shake the feeling that she was being pulled into something much larger than herself. But despite her apprehensions, she couldn't deny the powerful attraction she felt for Vansh. She knew she was playing with fire, but she couldn't resist its seductive pull.
Watching Isha drive away, Veer felt a surge of triumph. The kiss had been a bold move, but it had paid off. He had her right where he wanted her, and he was determined not to let her go.
Vansh’s POV
I returned to my car, my mind racing with plans for our next encounter. I needed to keep her intrigued, to deepen her fascination with me. I would continue to reveal just enough to keep her hooked, all while keeping my darker intentions hidden.
As I drove back to my mansion, I couldn't help but smile. Aadhya was mine, and soon she would realize it. The web he was weaving around her was tightening, and soon, there would be no escape.
I parked my car and walked into my office, where Rohan was waiting with updates. "Everything is in place for tomorrow, sir," Rohan reported.
Vansh nodded, satisfied. "Good. Make sure nothing goes wrong. I want her to feel safe with me, to trust me."
Rohan hesitated. "Are you sure about this, sir? She's different from the others."
Vansh's gaze hardened. "I know she's different. That's why this has to be perfect."
As Rohan left, Vansh sat back in his chair, a sense of calm washing over him. He was in control, and he wouldn't let anything jeopardize his plans. Aadhya would be his, and nothing would stand in his way.
The game was just beginning, and Vansh was prepared to play it to the end. He would have Aadhya, no matter the cost. And once she was his, he would never let her go.
