Chapter 5: Vansh's Obsession

Vansh leaned back in his leather chair, the dim light of his office casting long shadows across the room. The memory of Aadhya's face haunted him, a persistent echo in his mind. Her innocence, her beauty, and the way she had looked at him with a mix of curiosity and fear—everything about her intrigued him, consumed him.

He had spent years cultivating his image, balancing his roles as a politician and a mafia leader with a delicate precision. He was used to getting what he wanted, used to people fearing and respecting him. But Aadhya was different. She wasn’t just another pawn in his game; she was something far more significant.

He had first seen her at the charity gala, her presence a breath of fresh air in the stifling environment of wealth and power. The moment their eyes had met, he had known she was special. The connection he felt was immediate and intense, a magnetic pull that he couldn’t ignore.

Vansh’s sources had provided him with detailed information about her—her background, her habits, her interests. It was easy for him to find out where she lived, where she spent her free time, and even the quiet corners she sought for solace. He had spent the past weeks ensuring he was always one step ahead, always in the background, watching.

But tonight had been different. Seeing her in the garden, alone and vulnerable, had pushed him over the edge. The way she had looked at him, the way her body had responded to his touch—it had ignited a fire within him that he couldn’t extinguish. Even though it had all been a dream for her, it had felt real to him, a tantalizing glimpse of what could be.

He had made his presence known, stepping out of the shadows and into her world. The dream she had experienced was a result of his careful planning, a subtle influence on her subconscious mind. It was a risky move, but one that had paid off. Now, she was thinking about him, dreaming about him, just as he was about her.

Vanh’s fingers drummed against the mahogany desk as he contemplated his next move. He couldn’t afford to rush this. Aadhya was too precious to be handled like one of his usual conquests. He needed to be careful, to ensure she came to him willingly, drawn by the same inexorable force that pulled him towards her.

A soft knock on the door interrupted his thoughts. “Come in,” he said, his voice calm and controlled.

The door opened, and one of his trusted associates, Arjun, stepped inside. “Everything is in place, sir,” Arjun reported. “We’ve made sure her family hasn’t noticed anything unusual.”

“Good,” Vansh replied, nodding. “Continue to monitor her movements. Make sure she’s safe.”

Arjun hesitated for a moment before speaking again. “Are you sure about this, sir? She’s different from the others.”

Vansh’s gaze hardened. “I know she’s different. That’s why this has to be perfect. No mistakes.”

“Yes, sir,” Arjun said, bowing slightly before leaving the room.

Alone again, Vansh allowed himself a rare moment of vulnerability. He closed his eyes, recalling the dream—the way Aadhya had melted into his embrace, the sound of her soft moans, the feel of her body against his. It was intoxicating, and he craved more.

He had always been a man of control, but Aadhya had a way of unraveling him. His obsession with her was growing, a dark desire that threatened to consume him. He needed to have her, to possess her in every way possible. But he also needed to protect her, to ensure she remained untouched by the darker aspects of his world.

Vansh stood and walked to the window, looking out over the city. The night was dark, the streets below quiet and empty. It was a fitting reflection of his own mind—a turbulent storm beneath a calm surface.

As he stared into the darkness, he made a silent vow. He would have Aadhya Kapoor, no matter the cost. He would make her his, and together, they would navigate the dangerous path that lay ahead. For better or worse, their fates were now intertwined, and there was no turning back.

With renewed determination, Vansh returned to his desk, his mind already formulating the next steps. The game had begun, and he was prepared to play it to the end. He would ensure that Aadhya’s dreams became reality, and in doing so, he would bind her to him forever.

Vansh returned to his desk and opened a sleek, black leather folder. Inside were photos of Aadhya taken at various times—her walking in the garden, studying in the library, laughing with friends. Each image was a testament to her allure, a reminder of why he was so drawn to her. He traced a finger over one of the pictures, imagining what it would be like to have her by his side, to protect and possess her.

He needed to get closer to her, to make her feel safe and cherished. But he also needed to ensure that his darker dealings did not touch her. He picked up his phone and dialed a number.

"Rohan, I need you to ensure that everything we discussed is in place," Vansh said once the line connected. "I don't want any slip-ups. Aadhya Kapoor is off-limits to everyone. Do you understand?"

By the way Rohan was working with him for so many years and one of his most trusted one.

"Yes, sir," Rohan replied. "I'll personally oversee it."

Vansh ended the call and leaned back in his chair, feeling a mix of anticipation and satisfaction. He was ready to make his next move. Aadhya would not be able to escape him, and he would not allow anything to come between them.

That's all for today.......do tell me did you liked it.
